October update

Well, it’s been a while. And you may have noticed that Pete and I have not posted anything new. That’s because we have been busier than bipedally challenged people with testicles in an ass-kicking contest.

Cutting boards are selling well. I have included some pics of what I have been making above. Standard boards are about 15”x12.5”x1.25”. Those are going for $125 (that includes shipping as do all my prices). Custom large boards are about 24”x12.5”x1.25”. Those are $225 unless you want a handle included which makes it $275. Can’t make anything wider than 13” ‘cause that’s how wide my thickness planer is.

Lumber prices are through the roof. I am going to try and keep my prices where they are but if things keep going up, well, inflation is a double edged sward. If only everyone’s paychecks kept up with the inflation wouldn’t that be grand.

Charcuterie boards are a new item that I will be offering. I have two general sizes on those as well. The regular is about 24”x8”x.75”. Sizes will vary on these and some will have live edges. The large ones will be around 36”x10”x1”. Regular sized ones are $85 and the large are $110.

If you want to talk about a special order, just let me know. The best way is to go to the Contact page and send me a note. I haven’t posted these for sale because I frankly cannot create a stock. They are simply gone as I make them.

And then, there’s Wilbur the pig. Just about the cutest damn thing I have seen in a while. We went to Gunnison in the RV for a few days and the KOA had a veritable petting zoo. 3 rescued donkeys, goats, and Wilbur.

Ok, people. That’s it for now. Supply chains are a mess and getting hardwood is a pain in the butt. So, orders may be 2 or 3 weeks out. If you want to get something for Christmas, it might be a good idea to hit me up now.
